The Babyccino Method
The Babyccino aesthetic is a beautifully muted playspace - an environment that fuels the development of young children while nurturing the mother’s need for a mental sanctuary from everyday life. The idea here is to create a weekly retreat - a class that mothers actually look forward to coming to.

Why Sensory Play Matters
To set our children up to succeed, we need to set them up to experiment. It’s the things we play with - not just the toys, but the many things they will encounter in everyday life: sticks and stones and grass and sand, and all the things that may make them uncomfortable at first, and all the things their mothers would prefer them not play with at home - giving them access to these things and supporting their exploration and discovery is giving them the gift of play.

The Classroom
In this section, we will outline how to create a Babyccino playspace. The art is in the layering of essentials and extras. Some of these are basic elements in the building of a pop-up classroom, others are amplifiers and are not integral to a successful Babyccino class, though they add a layer of luxury to the experience.

The Circle
The Circle consists mostly of sing-along songs coupled with props and some movement activities. But before we jump into that, we start by holding space for community through personal introductions, thoughtful prompts, and a little conversation.
